Jacques Bermon Webster II (born on April 30, 1991) is better known under his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott), is an American artist, rapper and songwriter as well as record producer. His stage name is the combined name of a favorite uncle who has the first name and first name (of Kid Cudi), of his idol Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major label agreement with Epic Records in 2012, and also an agreement to publish with Kanye West's GOOD Music. In April 2013, he signed joint recording agreements with Epic and T.I. He signed a joint recording contract with Epic and T.I. Scott's first full-length project the mixtape Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in the year 2013. In 2013 Scott released the mixtape on his own Owl Phaoh. A follow-up mixtape called Days Before Rodeo was released in 2014. Rodeo (2015) marked the release of his debut studio album. The single that became his biggest hit, "Antidote", was featured on it. The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) reached number one on the Billboard 200. The following year, Scott released a collaborative album with Quavo titled Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho under the group name Huncho Jack.In 2018 the third album, Astroworld, was released to great acclaim. It also featured the debut Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Sicko Mode" (featuring Drake). Scott's compilation album JackBoys was released by Cactus Jack Records in late 2019. It was a top hit on the Billboard 200. The single, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. Scott became the first artist on the Hot 100 to release three singles at number 1 in less that one year in 2020.
